A few weeks ago, we had the opportunity to photograph one of the season's most stylish and spirited events in Derby, Ks: the Wichita Wagonmasters' 2025 Kentucky Derby Party. The room was filled with vibrant hats, Midwest charm, and a community that knows how to celebrate in style.
So, who are the Wagonmasters?
Founded in 1974, the Wichita Wagonmasters are a volunteer-driven civic organization dedicated to making Wichita a better place to live, work, and play. From organizing Riverfest to funding scholarships and supporting local charities, these community champions are known for throwing a great party, always with purpose.
